Try FastWeb for scholarships information. You simply put in your information, including colleges you want to attend, preferred major and educational level. The more specific you are, the easier it is for them to match scholarships to meet your needs. Just skip over the ads by clicking No Thanks. Register and create an account to access scholarship information based on your profile. Click on Scholarships and Deadlines, or the specific scholarship to apply.


2. FAFSA


Free Application for Federal Student Aid, more commonly referred to as the FAFSA or Federal Pell Grant. Income will determine the amount of funding you receive from the FAFSA. If your income is very low you could receive full college tuition coverage.


3. FSEOG


Find out if your college participates in the Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (FSEOG). About 4000 colleges around the United States offer monies from this program. It is geared for those students who demonstrate the most need. If your college participates, you will be eligible when you apply for the Pell Grant. Be sure to apply for the FAFSA early, since these grants are first come first serve. They offer funds ranging from $100 to $4000.


4. College Grants








Your college may offer grants to help pay for school as well.Go to your financial aid office to ask about any grants your college has based on need, affiliations or grade point average (GPA).


5. State Grants


Check your individual state to see if they offer educational grants to obtain free money for school. Try going to the education website in your state and searching grants. Go to the grants.gov website that is affiliated with the Federal Government to browse by category or agency. Click on Education to see education related grants.
