Veterinary Technician Schools In The Albuquerque Area

Vet techs offer quality care to sick and injured animals.

Veterinarian technicians are the front line of most veterinarian offices and shelters. Well-trained, caring vet techs offer quality care to sick and injured animals. They typically complete a two-year program from an American Veterinary Medical Association accredited institution and must pass a state exam. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts a 41 percent growth in jobs for veterinary technicians through the year 2016. There are several schools in the Albuquerque area that offer training at both brick-and-mortar campuses and online.
