Scholarships are available for disabled women.
Students with disabilities often have a greater challenges than other students in going to college or graduate school. Fortunately, private and nonprofit foundations help students with disabilities reach their educational goals. Women with disabilities should look into the Ethel Louis Armstrong Foundation, which specifically supports women with physical limitations. The National Women's Studies Association also offers scholarships to women. Other scholarships are open for both women and men with disabilities, but women are strongly encouraged to apply.
