Canada is home of some of the world's best business schools.


Want to attend a good business school? Try Canada. According to Financial Times, six of the top-100 business schools in world are located in Canada. Although Canadian business schools do not rank as highly as American or British schools in most publications' ratings, business schools in Canada do provide a world-class business education and confer MBA degrees that will be competitive in the world business market.


University of Toronto


The University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management is Canada's best business school. Financial Times ranked the Rotman school as the 45th highest rated program in the world for 2010. The school has carried a three-year average ranking of 44th. Rotman graduates are the highest paid graduating business professionals in Canada, commanding an average starting salary of $85,000. The MBA program at the University of Toronto is available in five formats: full-time, part-time, morning, evening and executive. The school also offers a Master of Finance and a Ph.D. Joint degrees are also possible in conjunction with the MBA. University of Western Ontario


Second to the University of Toronto among Canada's business schools is the University of Western Ontario's Richard Ivey School of Business. The Ivey School was ranked 49th overall by Financial Times in 2010. The school offers several degree programs. In addition to the traditional MBA degree, students can pursue an accelerated MBA or an executive MBA. The school also offers a Master of Science in Management and Ph.D. programs finance, general management, information systems, management science, managerial accounting, marketing, operations management and organizational behavior.

York University's Schulich School of Business is Canada's third highest-rated program. Financial Times ranked the school's business program as the 54th highest-rated program in the world. The university's business school offers a number of MBA programs, including the traditional MBA, the executive MBA and an international MBA. Other master's degree programs include a Master of Finance and a Master of Public Administration. Joint-degree programs are also possible in conjunction with the School of Fine Arts and the Law School.
