Medical School Gifts

Choose a stress-busting gift for someone in medical school.

Medical school is a stressful time for students, filled with hours of studying and difficult tests. When you are choosing a gift for a medical student, select something that will help ease that stress. You could also choose something that will help him have some fun in those few hours he has away from the books.

Stress Relief

Choose a gift that will help the medical student relieve stress. A gift certificate to a spa for a massage, manicure or pedicure would be a welcome gift. Alternatively, let the student get out of the library for a while and have some fun by giving him tickets to a baseball game or music concert.

Diploma Frame

When you are shopping for a medical school graduate, consider a diploma frame. Most doctors display their diplomas on the wall in their offices so their patients can see where they attended school. Select a simple frame, or a frame that has the medical school's seal or a building at the school engraved onto it.

Engraved Stethoscope

An engraved stethoscope is a keepsake gift that would be perfect for a medical school student or graduate. Doctors use stethoscopes daily, and owning one might motivate the student to continue in her studies. Have the stethoscope engraved with the person's name or initials, or with a saying that is meaningful to the student.

Study Help

Study help is a great gift for a medical student. Purchase a reference book or a medical encyclopedia for the student. You can also purchase flash cards that will help him learn material such as medical disorders, anatomical parts or other essential information he needs to know.
