Enroll In Second City In Chicago

Chicago has been home to Second City since 1959.

Second City in Chicago is a comedy club and a school of acting, writing, directing and improvisation that was founded in 1959. Prominent former students include Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell. Second City is not an accredited institution, so classes are not eligible for college credit. Auditions are not required for most classes, and you can enroll in the beginning improvisation program without prior acting experience. Classes are available for youths aged 4 to 18; and for adults aged 19 and up.
