Rent A Tux For The Spring Formal

Looking your best at the spring formal will make you feel good and make your date proud to be with you. Rather than spending money purchasing a new suit or tuxedo, you can rent a tuxedo worthy of being worn to your spring formal.

Instructions

1. Decide what kind of tuxedo you want. These days there are many styles of tuxedos that are acceptable for a formal dance. You might want to ask your friends what they intend to wear before you start looking for a tux in earnest.

2. Shop early. Tuxedo rentals are often booked weeks in advance, so make sure to reserve yours as soon as you know you're attending the dance to make sure you have the pick of the best tuxedos.

3. Visit the store for a fitting. The salesperson should measure you and let you try on several styles of tuxedos such as dress tails, a formal tuxedo jacket or a cutaway jacket.

4. Choose your accessories. Fancy cuff links look great with a tuxedo. Don't forget to choose a tie and vest or cummerbund. The best ties for a tuxedo are an ascot, bow or laydown tie.

5. Pick up your tux the day before the event and try it on at the store to make sure it fits. If any last-minute alterations need to be done, there will still be time to do them.

6. Return your tux in perfect condition. If you have stained the tux somehow, bring it back in its current condition rather than trying to fix it yourself. If you try to clean it and damage it further, you may be liable for the damages.
