Chicago Law Colleges

Chicago has several law schools.

Chicago has many colleges for students wanting to get their law degrees. Upon graduation, students enter careers related to law, such as being an attorney or judge. Law school generally takes three to four years to complete, and a student must have a bachelor's degree before gaining admittance to the school. As Chicago has one of the largest populations in America, students have many opportunities for internships and other forms of hands-on experience during school and for their careers after graduation.

DePaul University

DePaul University offers law degrees with specializations in business law, criminal law, public interest law and more. Plus, there are study abroad opportunities in several countries, including Australia, China, Spain and Argentina. There are more than 14,000 DePaul law school graduates in the United States. In 2008, over 90 percent of the graduating class found employment within nine months of graduation. Additionally, DePaul University offers both part-time and full-time programs, which is important for students who work while in law school.
