Clean With Coca Cola

Coca Cola does double duty as a beverage and a cleaning agent.

Coca Cola is a bubbly, carbonated beverage that can quench your thirst on a hot day. However, it has also been known as a product used to clean things around the house. The acids that are present in the soda can work as a cleaning agent. Of course, grabbing a can of Coke next time you clean may not sound like the norm, but it's worth a shot.

Instructions

Cleaning a Toilet

1. Pour an entire can of Coca Cola into your toilet to whiten and clean the bowl.

2. Allow the soda to sit in the toilet for an hour.

3. Flush the toilet for a clean bowl.

Greasy or Stained Laundry

4. Pour one can of Coca Cola into the washing machine.

5. Add the detergent as you normally would.

6. Toss in your greasy or stained clothes and launder as usual.

Kitchen Cleaning

7. Pour Coca Cola into a dirty coffee pot and let it sit overnight. Rinse clean the next morning.

8. Pour Coke in a black, caked-on pan and set the pan on the stove. Make sure the soda covers the stains by an inch. Turn the burner on low and let it simmer for about an hour. Wash the pot as you normally would.

9. Clean vitreous china with Coca Cola to get it white again. Gently use the Coke as you wash the china. Rinse well.
