Human rights lawyers protect the rights of all.
The study of human rights law encompasses the theory and practice of that branch of international law that defines the basic political and civil rights to which all human beings are entitled. According to Amnesty International, "learning about human rights is the first step toward respecting, promoting and defending the rights of all people." Although many law schools now offer course work in international law, some consistently rank high in the area of human rights law studies.
