Blackboard is an online system used by teachers and students to post and view grades, discussion boards, course blogs, course content and announcements. Blackboard also offers a free mobile application from Apple's App Store. Once you install the Blackboard application on your iPhone and set up your account, your Blackboard mobile application will automatically sync with your Blackboard account.
Instructions
1. Go to the Blackboard home page and enter your username and password. Click the "Login" button.
2. Click the "Blackboard Sync" option from the "Tools and Links" subsection on the left side of the Blackboard application.
3. Click the "Add the Blackboard Sync application to your iPhone" option. A window will open with an authorization code. Write down this authorization code.
4. Tap the "App Store" icon on your iPhone.
5. Tap "Search" and enter "Blackboard" in the search bar.
6. Select the "Blackboard Mobile Learn" application.
7. Tap the "Free" icon and tap "install."
8. Tap the new "Blackboard Mobile Learn" icon on the home screen of your iPhone.
9. Click "I Accept" to agree to the terms of service for the application.
10. Enter the URL for your school's Blackboard home page in the "Blackboard Server URL" text box.
11. Enter your authorization code.
12. Tap the "Continue" button. Your iPhone's Blackboard Mobile Learn application will automatically sync with your Blackboard account.
