Best graduate schools for environmental conservation
Environmental studies are a rapidly growing field and more colleges and universities are beginning to offer "green" degree programs. Environmental conservation, conservation biology and resource management are of particular interest to many students, as the sustainability of the current climate becomes a growing concern. Of the many schools that offer graduate programs in environmental conservation, a small number are at the forefront.
University of New Hampshire
The University of New Hampshire offers a Master's of Science degree with a concentration in Environmental Conservation. The degree encompasses conservation biology, environmental sustainability, natural resource policy, global environmental issues and ethics in ecology. Applicants must secure the sponsorship of a member of the college's faculty prior to being granted admission to the program.

The Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University
The Nicholas School at Duke University offers an M.S. degree with a concentration in Ecosystem Science and Conservation. Students may choose to pursue general conservation studies or they may focus on a particular ecosystem, such as forest, wetlands or marine conservation. In addition to field research, program coursework encompasses environmental policy and law, environmental management and conservation biology.

Cornell University offers both master's and doctoral programs in natural resources and environmental conservation.
