You want to start your own fashion show. You have the dream set in your mind--models wearing fabulous clothes, many people in the audience applauding and you, standing behind the curtain with a huge grin on your face. The only problem is, you don't know where to start. This article will show you step-by-step throw a fashion show and have fun while you do it.

1. Plan your fashion show. Before you can do anything, you must decide the purpose of your show. Are you going to showcase local designers or throw a charity show? Make a list of what your goals are for the show and keep them with you at all times through the planning process.
2. Spread the word. Put up fliers, ads in the newspaper or post ads on line asking for volunteers, models and clothing. Without them, you cannot put on a fashion show.
3. Book a location in advance. Once you have a set number of people in mind, find a location for your show. It could be at your school's gymnasium or a catering hall in your area.
4. Have meetings with the models. You will need to go over measurements, who is wearing what and in what order. If you have a few meetings in advance, it will make your show run a lot smoother.
5. Advertise your show. Ask local businesses if you can post fliers in their shop windows and call your local newspaper to see if they can run a story in the paper a few days before the show.
6. Lastly, have fun! If you feel like you're getting too stressed out, ask a friend to take on some duties. Fashion should be about fun, not fear.
