Many people prefer pursuing an online education because of the flexibility and freedom it provides. Everything you need is on your computer, including support from instructors and classmates. Online colleges can be expensive; however, there are funding options, including filling out the FAFSA. The following accredited online colleges accept the FAFSA.
Everest College
Everest college has campuses located throughout the country, as well as an online college. They offer associate, bachelor's and a few master's degree programs. Students can choose between programs in accounting, business, computer information science, homeland security, medical insurance billing and coding and paralegal studies.
Most of the school's programs take approximately nine months to complete, and they even help students find jobs after graduation. They also have financial aid services available, and will provide assistance with the FAFSA. Everest College has received accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association.

Ashford University
At Ashford University, students can earn a bachelor's or master's degree. The university offers programs in business, early childhood education, human resources management, public administration and health care administration. You can transfer up to 99 credits towards your bachelor's degree. Depending on the number of credits you transfer, you may be able to finish your degree in as little as 12 months.
According to the Ashford University website, they have one of the most affordable online programs available. Bachelor's courses are $372 per credit, while master's courses are $486 per credit. Financial aid is also available to students, and in order to qualify for financial aid, students must fill out the FAFSA.

Cerritos College
Cerritos College offers an online distance education program, and students have the option to take courses in accounting, business administration, journalism, law, medical assisting, reading and Spanish. There are also certificate, degree and transfer programs in business education, liberal arts, health and science. Coursework involves the use of emails, discussion boards and an online library.
Students can apply for financial aid through the FAFSA website or at the college's financial aid office. They can also answer any questions regarding the financial aid process.
