Scholarships For Online Schools

Scholarships can finance an online education.

Many working adults and other nontraditional students find it more convenient to take college courses online. While financing a college education can be expensive, there are many scholarships available for students in all types of programs, including online ones. These scholarships can help students incur less debt or none at all.

Pell Grant

This federal grant provides money to students based on financial need. Eligibility and amounts are determined by filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Factors used include family income, the cost of attending the school and whether the student will be attending full time or part time. The Pell Grant may be used at more than 5,400 colleges and universities. To apply, fill out the FAFSA form and contact the financial aid department of your university.
