Biometrics provide security in high tech areas such as airports, office buildings and labs and are used to prevent unauthorized access to computers. Biometric characteristics consist of two main areas: physiological, which includes scanning fingerprints and irises as well as facial characteristics, and behavioral, which includes key strokes and voice recognition. These characteristics are compared to those already on file before allowing access. Follow these steps to get biometric training.
