What Community Colleges In Georgia Have Open Enrollment

Open enrollment, also called open admissions, means that a college only requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate for admission. Open-enrollment policies at community colleges make it possible for students to earn a specialized trade diploma and certificate program, as well as two-year associate degree. Students can also fulfill core academic requirements for a bachelor's degree. Many Georgia four-year universities accept credits earned at a community college.

Georgia Perimeter College

Georgia Perimeter College is a two-year community college with a guaranteed admission policy for all high school graduates with a 2.0 cumulative GPA. With six locations in greater Atlanta, it has more than 25,000 enrolled students completing core college requirement courses or working toward a certificate or associate degrees. It also participates in the Transfer Admission Guarantee, which ensures that more than 20 colleges and universities in Georgia will accept transfer credits from Georgia Perimeter College.
