Pass The Paramedic Exam

The paramedic exam is a very important exam that paramedic graduates must pass in order to become a licensed/certified emergency technician. It is essential for paramedics to have the proper medical knowledge and understand life-saving procedures that must be performed in emergency situations. The paramedic exam guarantees that individuals who become emergency medical technicians are competent and deserve to be certified.

Instructions

1. Take paramedic self-tests 2 to 3 months before the actual exam. Your chances of passing the exam are higher since these types of exams are like the actual paramedic exam. Most paramedic self-tests include trauma tests, breathing and airway tests, cardiology tests and emergency medical service operation tests. See links below for examples of paramedic self-tests.

2. Use flash cards to study. Studying with flashcards can help you quickly build memorization techniques. Flashcards are commonly utilized by students and test takers as a learning drill to support memorization by way of spaced repetition. See link below for free paramedic flashcards you can download and print.

3. Read a paramedic test preparation manual. These books contain multiple choice questions and answer keys to help you prepare for the exam. Look for preparation books that come with a CD-ROM such as Barron's Paramedic Exam with CD-ROM and Exam Prep: Paramedic. See link below to purchase books at Amazon.com.

4. Get tips and ask questions from licensed paramedics who have already passed the exam. This can help you pass since these people have a general knowledge of what will be covered on the paramedic exam.

5. Take a paramedic refresher class/seminar a few months before the exam. These classes will cover testing, theory and clinical practice. Additionally, these classes can help motivate and prepare you for the exam. Contact the school where you graduated for a review seminar in your area.
