Study Fashion Journalism In Europe

Going abroad to Europe can not only provide great life experience, but it can also offer invaluable job and education experience. There are many fashion hot spots in Europe, such as Milan and Paris, so finding a school that offers fashion journalism can allow you to learn from the best while living in the most beautiful cities in the world. Coming from the United States, many schools offer study abroad programs that allow students to live and take classes in Europe.

1. Check out the university to see what study abroad programs they offer, and how long they last. Many universities offer programs that can last for a matter of months, or for a few semesters.


2. Save up money for at least a year before you go. Often the program will provide housing for its students, but daily activities and meals are up to the student. Some schools will offer Internships in their new city, so they may gain valuable career experience and earn money for living expenses.


3. Enroll in the study abroad program that will be best for you to learn fashion journalism. Once you know what city you will be living in, check out some books to get an idea of the culture and lifestyle of the new area.


4. Work hard on your studies to get good grades, and ask for advice from professors if you need help with finding direction in terms of your career plans. These professors usually see exactly how the business works, and have valuable advice on survive in it.








5. Apply for a fashion journalism job once you complete your degree. Having a study abroad program on a resume can show the prospective employer the experience you have gained from working and studying in a fashion city, especially when it is in Europe.
