Transfer Credits From Truman College

Truman College is a two-year, post-secondary educational institution located on Chicago's north side. The school is part of the City colleges of Chicago and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. If you have completed course work at Truman College, you can transfer the credits to most accredited, post-secondary educational institutions in the United States by requesting an official transcript from Truman College and sending the transcript to the school you want to transfer the credits to.


Instructions








1. Obtain Truman College's transcript request form from the school's official website. (See Resources)


2. Complete the online form by entering the requested information. You can choose to pick up your transcript in person or mail the transcript to another address.


3. Print, sign and date the completed form, and mail the completed form and a money order for $5 to:

4. Mail or deliver in person the official transcript from Truman College to the registrar's office at the school you want to transfer the credits to and request a transcript evaluation report. The registrar's office will evaluate your transcript from Truman College and issue you a report showing the credits from Truman College accepted as transfer credits. It may take as many as 30 days to receive the transcript evaluation report.
