Get Html Certification

To enhance your job prospects and salary as a web developer, it helps to be certified in HTML, the language that most websites are built on. HTML certification will test your knowledge of coding and assembling a website. To get HTML certified, follow these steps.

Instructions

1. Determine whether you have enough knowledge of HTML to get certified. Most community colleges and even some adult learning centers offer classes in HTML, which steer you toward what you will see on your certification test. You can also take classes online. Either way, some knowledge of HTML is required before applying for certification.

2. Decide whether you want to take certification through a school or on the Internet. If you have already taken the necessary classes toward a degree in web design, getting certified should come at the end of your term. If it doesn't, there are a slew of online sites that offer certification for a minimal fee.

3. Take the test. If you pass, your certification certificate will be mailed to you. If you don't pass, you will need to take the test again for another fee.

4. Take your certification certificate to your current employer if you already work in web design, or write on your resume that you are HTML certified. This will usually get you a better job or a pay raise.
