Design A T Shirt For A Nphc Sorority Or Fraternity Member

The National Pan-Hellinic Council members are fraternities and sororities with traditional all-black memberships. A personalized T-shirt for any such member must take into account the colors and symbols of the frat or sorority.

Instructions

1. Use the official colors, symbols, mascots, stones and/or flowers in the T-shirt design. Check the website of the fraternity or sorority for more information about these details. If any of the details are wrong, the recipient will not wear the shirt.

2. The symbols must be on the front of the shirt in a solid color. Avoid any patterns such as paisley, plaid or stripes.

3. Find out the Greek member's chapter of initiation. This could be one, two or three Greek symbols. If you are personalizing the shirt, the chapter is generally placed on a sleeve. If the member was initiated in an alumnae chapter, the shirt may bear the name of the city in which the chapter is located. Place the date of the initiation on the other sleeve.

4. Use the back of the shirt to place any personal information such as the person's line number, individual line name, group line names and any other significant information. If you choose to design the back of the shirt, make the Greek member's line number prominent. It should be in the middle. Individual line names are usually at the top and group line names are at the bottom. You can also put the year the organization was founded on the back of the shirt.
