Take the Advanced Microsoft Excel Tutorial Test


Microsoft Excel's tutorial test is given to administrative, technical and operational staff to measure current skill levels. The test can also be given to identify employee performance gaps and become aware of future training programs that will benefit staff. If you are an employee preparing to take the test, hours of studying aside, your chances of passing will improve if you know take the test.


Instructions








1. Sign up to take the online official preparation test at the Certiport website. Review the test objectives. Purchase a test voucher, and register with Certiport, Microsoft's pretest service provider. Log in and take the pretest.


2. Visit your local library or bookstore to get a copy of the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist Study Guide. Set aside time each day to review the study guide until you are comfortable completing the worksheet, database and formula action items.


3. Visit the Prometric website to schedule your actual test; Prometric is the independent organization Microsoft uses to conduct application testing worldwide. Use the drop-down box under "Country" to locate your test area. Sign up to take your test online or by telephoning Prometric, and pay the applicable test fees.








4. Take the test at a Prometric center. Remember to enter information during the actual certification test exactly as shown on the test screen. Avoid formatting your responses unless specifically directed to do so. Close dialog boxes, and keep the Office Assistant closed during the test. Notify the test center administrator if you experience computer difficulties.
