Located in mid-town Manhattan, Baruch College is a part of the City University of New York (CUNY), and has one of the most diverse student populations in the nation. The college is made up of four programs: the school of business, arts and sciences, public affairs, and professional studies. Undergraduate majors can choose from 23 fields, including business, accounting computer information systems, and psychology. Prospective students who are applying into the freshman program should submit an official high-school transcript to the CUNY admissions office. Barnard College








Barnard College, an affiliate of Columbia University, is a college for women and offers liberal arts programs in fields like Africana studies, dance, film studies and human rights. Through the partnership with Columbia University, students from both campuses can register in courses, take part in organizations and utilize academic resources that are available at both institutions. The college is located in the upper-west side of Manhattan. General requirements for a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal arts includes a two-year foundation in general education courses along with a major and elective courses.
