Close A Letter Of Intent

A letter of intent should accompany your resume.

A letter of intent, most often known as a cover letter, is an integral part of the application process for any professional position. This letter is sent to a potential employer along with a resume or curriculum vitae and portfolio at the beginning of the process. The letter of intent introduces you to your potential employer. It describes your skills and past experience and why you are pursuing the job. The closing is essential for a lasting impression.

Instructions

1. Include in the last paragraph a thank you for the person taking the time to read your letter and consider your application and resume.
