1. Read the books, "Girls Will Be Girls: Raising Confident and Courageous Daughters," "Girls and Boys in School: Together or Separate?" and "All Girls: Single-Sex Education and Why It Matters." The first book, by JoAnne Deak, provides insight into the factors that are necessary to raise a daughter who excels and feels secure. The book also highlights differences between the brains of girls and boys. The second book, by Cornelius Riordan, reviews research on the benefits of single sex-schooling. 2. Contact the National Coalition of Girls' Schools. You can call them at (978) 287-4485 or go to their website. They can provide you with a list of local girls' schools as well as a plethora of information about the benefits of attending a girls' school.
3. Visit at least three of the schools on the list provided by the National Coalition of Girls' Schools. By touring these schools you will be able to see the benefits for yourself.
