Top Joint Jd Mba Programs

The JD/MBA gives you options.

Joint JD/MBA programs allow candidates to shave a year from the five-year process of earning consecutive law and business degrees. Programs accomplish the savings by using courses from one program as electives in the other. With the reputations, resources and world-renowned faculty available at elite universities, it is no surprise that top law and business schools often share an address. Put the two together, and they are tough to beat.

Harvard

Spend four years in Boston ...leave with a JD and an MBA.

U.S. News & World Report rated Harvard Business School the best in the country in its 2010 rankings. Harvard Law School ranked second. The JD/MBA is a four-year program that offers core curricula and a range of electives from both schools. Students spend the first two years of the program completing the first-year coursework of both schools, in the order of their choosing. They spend the third and fourth years completing electives. Students must also complete 40 hours of pro bono legal service. Applicants to the JD/MBA program must apply to and be independently accepted by each.
