Good Colleges for Fashion Design

If you are majoring in fashion design, it's important to go to a good college, not only for the academic enrichment, but also to enable you to network with top professionals in the field. Colleges for fashion design are increasing in numbers, with universities recognizing fashion as an art subject. Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) aims to develop fashion design as a major branch in American art and culture. There are renowned fashion schools in the east and west coasts that you can choose from.

In the south, Savannah College of Art and Design is a prominent art school. Their fashion program is also extensive, featuring guests that are well-known in the field of fashion, such as Oscar dela Renta and Miuccia Prada.
