Take The Mcats In California

You must take the MCAT before applying to medical school.

The Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) is a test that you take if you want to apply for admission to medical school. You are only able to take the test on certain days during the year, so it is strongly recommended that you sign up for the test six months before test day. In the year 2011, the MCAT is administered 25 days from January through September. In California there are 40 test centers, called Prometric Test Centers, where you can chose to take the test. There are certain steps that you must take in order to sign up to take the MCAT in California.

Instructions

1. Go to the American Association of Medical Colleges website (https://services.aamc.org/20/mcat/portal). Here you will be able to register for the MCAT.
