Prepare For An Ntse Exam







Take practice tests to prepare for the NTSE exam.


The NTSE Exam is the National Talent Search Exam for high school students of Indian nationality seeking scholarships for university. The exam, designed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), is funded by the Indian government. This exam is challenging and students interested in taking this exam will need to thoroughly prepare as it is a competitive scholarship created to aid the most talented students. Since many students face NTSE preparation each year, there are many resources to assist them with studying for this test.








Instructions


1. Understand what you need to study and the structure of the exam. Stage I for state level. It is comprised of two parts. Part I is the Mental Ability Test, referred to as MAT. Part II is the Scholastic Ability Test or SAT. The SAT covers social sciences, sciences and mathematics. Stage II is the national exams, consisting of three parts. The first two are the same as Stage I, but in Stage II there is also an interview.


2. Find a study buddy. If you can not find a person you know that would make a good study buddy, you can find one online. Visit the Simply Learnt website to register as a study buddy. Registration is required, but the services and information is free for all students.


3. Review NTSE sample papers. Entrancei and TYC Online offer free sample papers that will help students understand question format and level of difficulty. With Entrancei, sample documents can be downloaded directly and are in PDF format. TYC requires registration, but the sample tests are free.


4. Make a study plan to keep on track. Make personalized study plans or visit the Simply Learnt website and use the study plan designed from the syllabus for the current NTSE exam. This tool also tracks remaining days and improvement of practice test scores, so it is possible to track areas that need improvement.
