Vitamin A
Restore your skin from sun damage, wrinkling and aging with vitamin A, for a smooth, glowing complexion. This vitamin is necessary for repairing skin. Dr. Arthur Perry says that vitamin A is the only thing that can reverse some of the signs of aging---other things kind of hold it at bay. Eliminate dry skin conditions like psoriasis with vitamin A. Take the RDA recommended amount of vitamin A of 2,000 IU, taking too much can be toxic.
Biotin, Vitamins B3 and B5
Create glowing, healthy skin by taking 300 mcg biotin daily. Biotin is the most important of the B vitamins for your skin.
Take 30 mg vitamin B3 (niacin) daily to retain moisture in your skin.
Help heal your acne when you take 300 mg vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) daily. Vitamins C and E

Dr. Peter Pugliese, skincare expert, says that vitamin C is the most important water-soluble biological antioxidant. Take 800 mg to 2,000 mg of vitamin C daily with flavanoids, for better absorbency.
Take 400 IU of vitamin E daily to reduce sun damage, improve skin texture and to prevent wrinkles.
Zinc, Selenium, Omega-3 and Alpha-hydroxyacids
Take a zinc supplement daily of 15 mg, especially if you have acne. Zinc restores the skin's oil supply to a normal level.
Protect your skin from sun damage with 200 mcg selenium each day.
Take 1,000 mg (one tablespoon) of flaxseed oil or 1,000 mg of fish oil daily for a dose of omega-3 essential fatty acids. Omega-3 keeps your skin moist, smooth and younger looking.
Rebuild your skin cells by taking 200 mg Alpha-Lipoic Acid daily. Alpha-Lipoic Acid is an antioxidant more powerful than vitamin C and E.
Tips and Warnings
Avoid taking more than the recommended dosage of vitamin A--this supplement is toxic in higher doses.

Quit smoking or increase your daily vitamin C dosage up to 2,000 mg if you smoke cigarettes. Smoking depletes vitamin C.
See your doctor before taking vitamin B5 if you're taking antibiotics or tetracycline. Vitamin B5 interferes with the absorption of these drugs.
Drink one half your weight in ounces of water each day to moisturize your skin from the inside out.
