Nonaba Approved Law Schools

There are law schools that are not approved by the American Bar Association.

There are more than 40 law schools in the United States that are not approved by the American Bar Association (ABA). A student may choose to apply at a non-ABA-approved law school if they have not been accepted into a law school which is ABA-approved. Usually, law schools that are not approved are easier to be accepted into.

Abraham Lincoln School of Law

The Abraham Lincoln School of Law's slogan is "The premier real-time interactive law school" and, while the school isn't approved by the American Bar Association, it is registered with the Committee of Bar Examiners and fully approved by the state of California. The law school is affordable, costing approximately one-fourth of a typical private law school's tuition in California. Students do not have to be present in live classes and can take classes online in their own time. The program takes four years to graduate with a juris doctor and, upon graduation, students may sit for the California Bar Examination.

American College of Law

The law program at the American College of Law targets students interested in a part-time law school. Apart from the student's LSAT score and undergraduate grade point average, the American College of Law weighs heavily other aspects of the individual. Maturity, employment background and experience, community involvement and goals as portrayed in the personal statement are some of the other aspects the school uses to weigh admissions decisions with its applicants.
