Add Hotmail MSN Chat
MSN Messenger, or Windows Live, is one of the main instant messaging applications that link directly to your email account. Windows Live can be downloaded as a separate instant messaging account from the website or can be accessed directly from your Hotmail email account. To use Windows Live you must have a valid email address and password in the system.
Instructions
Web Browser
1. Log into your Hotmail email account using your email address and password.
2. Click Messenger in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Select Sign into messenger (web) from the menu bar. Instant messaging can then occur through your Internet browser. Change your status from the same menu bar and sign out when you are done chatting.
Outside Application
4. Visit Windows Live's website. Select your language and click Download Now.
5. Save the file to your desktop. When completely downloaded, run the executable file.
6. Complete all directions on the installation wizard.
7. Restart your computer and re-launch the application.
8. Enter your username (email) and password, then click Sign In.
