Make Wrinkles Under My Eyes Less Noticeable

Even laughing contributes to wrinkles.

The area around our eyes moves constantly. When we smile, frown, squint, wince, yawn: it all mounts up, often causing premature wrinkles. The skin around the eyes is particularly thin and susceptible to sun damage, so it is important to take time to protect this delicate area.

Instructions

1. Sleep is essential to the health of your skin.

Make sure you have six to10 hours sleep. When you don't get as much sleep as your body needs it can lead to premature wrinkles around the eye area.

2. Multivitamins benefit your skin, hair, and general health.

Take a multivitamin every morning, and be sure to drink plenty of water every day. A balance of nutrients and hydration is required to keep skin firm and supple.

3. Pineapple contains bromelain.

Rub the core of a pineapple over the area underneath your eyes, and leave on for 20 minutes. Pineapple contains bromelain, an enzyme shown to reduce wrinkles.

4. A good anti-wrinkle cream contains sunscreen.

Apply an anti-wrinkle cream daily. Look for one with extra moisturizers, beta-hydroxy acids, and sunscreen. The sun contributes to a wide range of skin damage, resulting in wrinkles and fine lines.

5. Coconut oil hydrates the skin.

Before heading to bed, apply a thin layer of coconut or olive oil to the area beneath your eyes. This will keep the skin hydrated all night long.

Tips Warnings

Wear sunscreen daily.

Apply cosmetics over your moisturizer.

Avoid smoking and excessive alcohol. When used in excess, both can lead to wrinkles and fine lines.
